My name is Sangeetha and I am authoring this blog on behalf of my husband - Nook (to friends) a.k.a Babu (to family) to provide some level of communication in terms of updates on his difficult journey to our supportive family and friends who are as anxious as I am for him to completely heal, and be whole and healthy again! Babu's surgery was successful
We just spoke to the doctor and the surgery was successful. Babu did really well through out his surgery and he is back in the ICU. He is stable and doing well. We need to be really careful for the next 7 days and make sure that he does not pick up any infections. His white count is pitifully low and the next 24-48 hours are critical for infections.
Thank you for your prayers and affirmations. It really helped. I appreciate all your support.

We continue to pray for a quick and healthy recovery, so we can move on to the next stage of Nook's healing.
I am extremely relieved to read that. My prayers are with him on his road to recovery. I strongly feel and wish that it is only going to get better now.
