Dr. Gloom's twin brother Dr. Doom

So I guess Gloom and D(h)oom decided to do a number on me on alternative days...so it was one of those days again yesterday where I was supposed to "think hard and decide what's the best!!" about what to do in the long run for Nook. So another down day...but I am up again - thanks KV for the pep talk...

So Mr. D(h)oom is like his namesake in the Hindi movie - was it Abhishek Bachan and Aishwarya Rai?! Well, I could soon be shooting the next Hindi movie here, with all the subtle flirting between dhoom and the nurses - sometimes that provides me some much needed entertainment - everyone falls all over him...it's an absolute must to keep the mask on at all times (I was chided by the ID doctor to always keep my nose covered!) - but this particular nurse, I notice sometimes will let her mask fall whenever she talks to him ;-)

Another nurse made sure she dusted off the lint on his doctor's coat!!

Anyways, what was that formula for the number of office romances - 25% of the number of employees...wonder with 5000 people working here, lot of soap operas in itself...

That's my only deviation on Nook's health blog - sorry, had to go on a tangent because I found it so amusing!

  1. I am glad to see you keeping your spirits up and finding little amusing things around in ICU Sangeetha.. I kinda know how hard it is to spend days in hospitals watching a loved one suffer through so much..glad you are able to find humor in the situations..keep up the spirit, you are doing the best anyone can do..and everything humanly possible.. Rest is in God's hand..we continue to pray for Nook and you and kids..
